Mainstream awards are setting rules rather than shutting the door. Write for what AI does well
AI video is strong at faces, conversation, atmosphere, and places you could never afford to film. It is weaker at long continuous action, precise hand work, and characters physically interacting for a long time. Each generated clip is short, so your film is built from many shots edited together.
That shapes the script:
Keep it short and small. Two to five minutes, two or three characters, a few locations.
Tell it through faces and dialogue. A tense conversation plays better than a chase.
Cut between angles. Write scenes as a sequence of shots rather than one long take.
Keep one look. Choose a single visual style and stick to it, so the film feels like one piece.
