What is an AI storyboard generator?

It is a tool that turns a script or story idea into storyboard frames, one picture per shot, without drawing. EasyVid's storyboard generator also keeps each frame connected to its dialogue and characters, so the storyboard can become a finished video.

How do I turn a script into a storyboard with AI?

Paste your script into a new EasyVid project and format it. EasyVid splits it into scenes, keeps every spoken line word for word, creates the characters, locations, and objects it needs, and then draws a frame for each scene when you create the storyboard.

Do I need to know how to draw?

No. You describe or paste the scenes and pick a visual style, and the AI draws the frames. You can also upload your own images for characters, places, or whole scenes.

Does it keep characters consistent across frames?

Yes. Each character gets a reference image, generated or uploaded, and that image is used whenever the character is tagged in a scene. Locations and important objects work the same way. If a frame drifts, regenerate just that one.

What should a storyboard include?

For each shot: what the viewer sees and how close the camera is, who is in frame and where they are, the location, the action, and the dialogue or narration over it. EasyVid's scene cards include all of these, plus each scene's length.

Can I use my own characters or art style?

Yes. Upload images of your characters, locations, or props, and EasyVid uses them as references. For the look, pick one of the visual styles or upload a style image.

Can I edit the storyboard after it's generated?

Yes. Rewrite any scene's prompt and regenerate its frame, upload your own image for a scene, change its dialogue, or delete it. The other scenes stay as they are.

Can I turn the storyboard into a video?

Yes. Animate the frames into video clips, generate the voices, add subtitles and background music, and render an MP4. If you leave every scene unanimated, the video renders as a slideshow of your frames with their voices, which works as an animatic.

Can I export the storyboard as a PDF?

No. EasyVid does not export storyboard PDFs or pitch decks. You can play the storyboard back in the editor and render it as an MP4 video.

Can I skip the frames and generate video straight away?

Yes. In Director mode each scene card goes straight to a video clip generated from the character and location references, without drawing a frame first. Classic mode draws every frame first, so you can approve the picture before it moves.

Which aspect ratios can I use?

Vertical (9:16) for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts, square (1:1) for the Instagram feed, and landscape (16:9) for YouTube.
